Brixton O2 Academy
3rd April

London is set to stage a very special one off concert in aid of Japan Earthquake victims.

With images beamed worldwide as they occurred, the horrific tragedy that beset Japan in recent days has affected everybody.

In response, a collection of Britain’s finest rock musicians have heeded the rallying call and come together to present a very special one off event on April 3rd at London's Brixton O2 Academy.

Featuring Richard Ashcroft, Beady Eye, The Coral, Graham Coxon, Primal Scream and Paul Weller, the show has been hastily arranged to help benefit those who have been affected by the recent earthquakes and subsequent tsunami in Japan.

Almost 8,500 people have died in the disaster with thousands injured and with nearly 13,000 people still missing the need for an immediate response is immense. The Japanese Red Cross has been working on the ground since the disaster struck.

The show will take place at London's Brixton O2 Academy on April 3rd. Tickets go on sale this Friday 25th March at 9am, limited to a maximum of 4 per applicant.

Tickets are available from:

I spent 10 amazing days last year in Japan. I went from Tokyo to Hiroshima and back. Travelling via Osaka, Kyoto, Nara and Miyajima. The people were absolutely fantastic a credit to the World. I hope Japan can recover quickly from this disaster. I will be attending this concert and hope the proceeds go towards getting the great nation of Japan back on it's feet. Im proud of Beady Eye for organising this concert at short notice and proud of all the other artists who have signed up to make it an unforgettable evening. Japan I hope we do you proud. with love and best wishes from England x

Thank you for your kindness!!! I went from Tokyo to Sendai in 2002, Oasis concert. The seat next to me who a girl was wearing a shirt of "working hero is here". I remember that Liam gave his tambourine to her. I remember the concert was wonderful. I am very worried about the damage this earthquake and tsunami. I sincerely hope that this damege can recovery quickly.

Although I said I wanna thank you BEADY EYE on Pretty Green comment board, I wanna say thank you to BEADY EYE and other musicians who will be involved with this concert. I have lived in Nagoya so I wasn't the direct victim. But when I saw TV broadcasting big Tsunami coming, I couldn't believe the scene. It was like seeing nightmare. But as HIROMI GALLAGHER-san said, this concert will definitely encourage all the victims and Japanese people. Thank you, LIAM, GEM, ANDY and CHRIS. We get up when we're down. we can't swim but our soul won't drown.

Just read about the Japan benefit. i have been wanting to help but have no discernible talent. I do however have long hair I am willing to chop off to raise a few quid if possible? How would I go about trying to link it to what the Beady Eye boys are doing? P.S. I'm not after anything in return.
